Eva

Eva is another rescue from our partner Hope 4 a Street Dog in Costa Rica. This under 2 year old mix was found severely neglected.  She was found barely able to lift her head up, emaciated, completely hairless and an entire layer of skin was peeling away leaving scabs from head to toe. This was a result of a toxic chemical which when diluted is used for bug control on cows. This insecticide was poured full strength and left to burn her skin. She was left outside and luckily found by a caring neighbor. There were many treatments, TLC and vet visits between then and now but we all know it was worth it when we see the joy Eva shares every day. Her vet care and treatments were sponsored by supporters of Hope 4 a Street Dog and she has a ticket to fly to Vermont where a very excited new mom is waiting to share the everyday joys of life with Eva.
