With extra love, care, and guidance from her amazing foster family, Emma has fully recovered from surgery to fix a subluxating patella and is now in search of a forever home. Emma just turned one year, a nice size at 35 lbs, and is a mixed breed rescued from a terribly neglectful situation in Costa Rica as a young puppy. While she hasn't always had an easy life, she is so resilient, strong, and the sweetest girl ever!

As you can see, Emma loves loves being with her people, the companionship of other dogs, and is wonderful with children. She also lives with cats, is potty trained, crate trained, and has nice house manners. If you are looking for a companion who enjoys the great outdoors, she would love to join you for a leisurely walk, soaking up some sunshine, jumping in the fall leaves, and romping in the snow. Then she is ready to cuddle up with you on the couch for a movie or an afternoon nap!
