More About Palmer

Meet Palmer! He is the last pup up for adoption from the litter of 6 found abandoned on the side of the road in Brookfield, VT. Palmer’s foster Mom says that he takes the smartest puppy award. Maybe a little too smart for his own good! He is super food motivated and a professional problem solver. All this combined makes him super trainable. He already has a wonderful foundation of skills under his paws….sit, down, go to bed (his crate), and loose leash walking. He loves his people and warms up to strangers within seconds if there is a treat involved.

Palmer is a medium energy boy and all mischief. Potty training is a work in progress but he learns fast. He loves to please, and wears a crown of pride when he knows he did what his humans wanted. He also wears that crown when he figures out how to get what he wants. He’s all about a good time but does settle wonderfully, and enjoys a nice cuddle session. Palmer is good with kids, and loves play time with his brother Liam. Cats are unknown.

Palmer is approximately 7 months old, 26 lbs, up to date on vaccinations and will be neutered and micro chipped on November 6. We anticipate he will be medium size when full grown. He is in a foster home in South Strafford, VT with his brother Liam. If Palmer sounds like he would fit right in with your family, please submit an application http://longtraildogs.org/adoption-application/ to share with his foster.
