More About SHILOH

We have some lovely black pups we are introducing and are available here in Vermont to meet approved adopters.
Shiloh! He’s a very nice fella with a sweet demeanor at about 45 pounds and 1 year (ish) old. He was unfortunate to spend some of this short life behind shelter walls, but one of the lucky ones to find himself to our rescue family.

He’s been living with two other dogs and is very respectful and is socially appropriate. He matches playstyles with a mix of tug, chase and wrestling. He shares toys nicely, respectful during mealtimes and enjoys his crate as his “bedroom”. He sleeps in his crate and enjoys being in there when the family leaves the home. He is housebroken and walks great on a leash too! The game of Fetch could be in his future… he has ½ of that skill down… the retrieve part is being worked on.

Shiloh also lives with respectful kiddos at the ages of 5 and 6 and absolutely adores them. He is gentle, engages politely and even takes treats with a soft mouth.
Shiloh is happy to engage with visitors with a wagging tail and invitations to be pet. He’s smart, eager to learn new skills as he journeys through puppyhood. Eagerly rolls over for belly rubs and snuggles in with the kiddos on the couch for tv time.

Shiloh will thrive in a family with or without kiddos, with or without other pups, but most importantly a semi active family who will enjoy and commit to taking this sweet boy on daily walks, build a solid relationship, continue with skill building and of course lots of cuddles and belly rubs. He is doing really well with his recall skills and with continued work, he would be able to enjoy hiking in safe areas off leash.

Shiloh is being fostered in Morristown and ready to schedule playdates with approved adopters.
