Please meet and share lovely MISTY!

Misty is a just under 1 year old Bernedoodle who has joined our rescue and is now with one of our lovely foster homes while we go on the hunt for her ideal family. Misty was surrendered because she was purchased from a breeder and ended up in a home that was not quite right for her age and energy level. We’re happy to help to find a family that can meet this little cutie’s needs.

Misty is about 35 pounds and full grown. She would thrive with a dog savvy owner/family that can be her coach and show her how to confidently navigate her world. She is shy at first, but once she knows her people, she is quite the snuggle bug, wiggle worm and eager to learn new games and tricks.

Misty has good skills under her paws and her new family could easily build from them. She is crate trained, potty trained, learning leash skills and excelling with her off leash skills in a confident setting.

Misty is great with other respectful dogs. She’s a gentle and dainty player, so another gentle and dainty sibling would be great for her. She also LOVES her toys and is happy to play with her people or can self-entertain with some of her favorite toys and chews.

Misty also enjoys children. She plays gently and is light on her feet. She would be a good friend to respectful children.

Her foster mom says she is extremely sweet, a bit shy, and needs some confidence building, however, she is as dainty and soft and sweet as it gets. She is very sweet, playful and loving. She doesn’t bark much and is building confidence each day. She is a lot of fun off leash and stays close by.

Misty will benefit and thrive with a patient and easygoing family that is moderately active. She is not a couch potato but snuggles like a champ! A good social/confidence building dog class would also do wonders for both her and her new family once she has had the chance to settle in. A fenced in area would be a huge bonus for her and her family.

Misty is ready for her next chapter, and primed to be an awesome, loveable family pup with a dedicated, committed family. She is being fostered in Essex Junction, VT.
