We have a loveable Golden colored lab/hound? Mix who is searching for that perfect family to call hers! Issy is one of those sweet, kind, gentle souls with a side of spunky!

ISSY is about 5 months old and has been with a foster family in East Hampton, VT which also consists of other dogs and kitties! She LOVES other respectful dogs and has very good social etiquette when meeting and playing. She also is curious in a playful way with her feline friends. A home with a dog savvy kitty would be fine.

ISSY has been doing really well with her house manners, potty training and even has some decent leash skills for her age. She has earned the bed warmer position and loves to cuddle up with her foster mom for a good night’s sleep.

ISSY rides well in the car and loves exploring new places and meeting new people. She is appropriately cautious in public when meeting new people, but in her home, she’s a happy, wiggly, smiley pup who will absorb any affection given.

ISSY is a smart pup,, closely attuned to the daily rhythms. She is ready when you are, following your lead to see what’s next on the agenda and happy to cooperate. She is a busy girl, so allowing her appropriate activities, a variety of exciting quests and challenges and you will have a happy, highly agreeable and eager to please pup! Issy is a pup that wants to engage and explore and we’re hoping for a family that enjoys the same.

We think Issy will be in the 45-55 pound range when fully grown, the perfect size for some hiking, a running partner and a co-pilot. Respectful kiddos would be a nice pairing for Issy and a family that would like to join in other canine activities and sports would be a bonus!

Issy is in East Hampton, CT, but could meet somewhere closer to VT for approved adopters to meet.

Once the application is filled out, it will be forwarded to her foster mom to be in touch! This little gem is truly a diamond in the ruff ready for her family to let her shine!
