Little ROCKET was one of the lucky ones who have made it out of the shelter. He has been in one of our loving foster homes for a few months now making sure he is healthy and happy and ready to join a family.

One of the many benefits of being in one of our foster homes is that they get to learn so many basic skills and the adoptive family can very easily pick up on and build on those skills. Rocket is potty trained, crate trained, knows some basic commands, sit, down, stay. He even is good with baths and nail clipping!

It's now time that he starts a new chapter with his very own family. He is now about 5 months old and approximately 25 pounds. Mom was a pointer mix, dad skipped town before introducing himself.

Rocket is a complete package in a puppy. He is fun, happy, bouncy, lovey, engaging, cuddly and talks to you, but not a barker! He loves his toys, plays nicely with his canine foster siblings. HIs favorite snacks include dabs of peanut butter and his favorite is pup cups of ice cream!

Rocket will fit in nicely with a family ready to take over raising a well balanced pup. Another canine mentor would be fantastic and/or kiddos who love to play and teach.

Rocket is being fostered in St. Albans, VT and submitted applications will be forwarded to his foster family to be in touch!
