ADOPTION PENDING Traveling all the way from the “Lone Star State,” introducing Dakota! If you are looking for a partner to join you on long walks or if hiking is your thing, Dakota is a dream to take with you on-leash. Dakota’s foster Mom describes him as a sweet soul, gentle, and sensitive, loves his humans and likes following you around the house as you go about your business. He will make some lucky family a wonderful companion. On the shy side meeting new people, he might be happier in a quieter home with not a lot of people coming and going. Dakota likes other dogs, so he wouldn’t mind sharing a home with a confident, playful doggy that would help build up his confidence.

Dakota is house and crate trained. He enjoys carrying socks and shoes around, but does not chew and is not destructive. His breed mix is a mystery, maybe shepherd mix? but his DNA results should be in soon. Stay tuned! Approximately 2-3 years old, 43 lbs
