FOR FOSTER OR ADOPTION...Bethany was picked up as stray and brought to the shelter by animal control and her owners never came for her. She has finished heartworm treatment and is looking forward to coming to Vermont (arriving May 18) to start a new and better life. Now she just needs a foster or adopter who will give her that second chance!

The shelter staff describe Bethany as sweet, gentle-natured, walks nicely on leash, a bit timid and looks to her handler for guidance. She tested well with other dogs. 1-2 years old, 47 lbs, looks to be full German Shepherd, maybe mix.
