MONTY! Who is the BEST DOG? Monty says it’s him! This guy is basically awesome, says his foster mama. He has been such a joy to have in their home, even through the holiday craziness, this guy has shined bright. 1-2 yr old mixed of maybe boxer/lab?

He loves to be near people and is an awesome snuggler. He has excellent leash skills, actually may even bring the leash to you to politely ask for a walk. He meets and greets other dogs with ease and is happy to mingle respectfully with them. He has been a gem in the home, house-trained and crate trained although has earned his right to be out of the crate the majority of the time. He has good manners, respectful, gentle and eager to please.

Monty would be a wonderful companion for a family that enjoys some adventure time outside, maybe some hiking, definitely long walks and some play time. He would do well with respectful kiddos and dog savvy kitties. He would want to continue his training, increase his trick and treat skills and would love to eventually be an off leash pup with proper recall training. He would enjoy a family that is around more often than not as he very much enjoys the company of people.

Monty has all of his basic foundation skills in place. He is ready to join a family of his own, show the unconditional love only a dog can give. Monty won’t disappoint and with a devoted, loving family, Monty will be a member of the family to be proud of. Monty is being fostered in Williston, VT
