GIRLIE (aka Coco) has been settling in beautifully these past several months with a loving foster family in Jericho after spending over a year in a Costa Rican shelter.

This lovely lady is about 28 pounds, 1 1/2 years old and has a soft and tender personality. She is one of the sweetest dogs this foster family has welcomed over the years. She bonds quickly and snuggles hard. She is well mannered in the home and has earned free roam when left alone. She is crate trained and is working on her recall. She loves the freedom and security of the fenced in yard while getting to know the outside world on a leash.

She resides with two respectful kiddos, two playful pups and a feline friend and enjoys their company. Girlie loves her toys, loves to zoom around the fenced in yard and is quite the funny clown in the home. She really loves her people and is an excellent entertainer! . She would be happy to join another canine (or feline) family or would also be happy being the only spoiled fur kiddo where she can continue to build her confidence skills.

Girlie is now ready to join a family of her own and we will patiently wait for her perfect family to find her and welcome her into their lives, offering her a heaven on earth.
