You are in for a treat when you meet the most perfect guy with the appropriate name of GENTLEMAN.

This fella sat in the shelter for months, overlooked we think simply because he’s a dark dog without stand out markings. Little did everyone know that he’s pretty much perfect in every way! We are so happy that a foster home opened for him so he had the chance to spread his wings and show everyone what a complete love bug he really is!

Gentleman is the epitomize of the friendly dog that people adore. He is very accommodating to other people, dogs and kiddos! He is a calm, go with the flow pup and is a delight to have along your side and join you with your social activities. He is naturally sweet when meeting others and will gently take some tasty treats.

Gentleman has settled quickly and nicely in his foster home. Really enjoying the comforts of home vs. the shelter life and shows his appreciation with super snuggles and doe like eyes which warm your heart. He has excellent leash skills and enjoys his daily outings. His foster mom takes him to the public (people) parks, and to the local hiking trails. He is perfectly mannered. He is very socially appropriate when meeting other dogs and has a gentle dainty playstyle. He is also great choosing some favorite toys and playing with his favorite people to pass the time away.

Gentleman’s age is guesstimated to be 2 years old. He has excellent house manners, crate trained, and asks to go outside to relieve himself. He has earned free roam of the house when left alone for up to 5 hours. He really enjoys cuddling up in his foster mom’s bed at night. He loves the car and would be ready to join you on whatever activities you have lined up for the day. Even though he’s a southern boy, he loves the snow!

We really can’t say enough great things about this gentle and so loveable of a gem. He’s about 50 pounds, a team player at heart and will be a completely loyal, trusted canine partner in life.
