We have a lovely lady named MAGNOLIA!, “Mags” for short now ready to join a family looking for a fun, smart, medium sized and a medium energy lovebug! Best guess in breeds are Husky and Border Collie? Those are two fun genetics to work with if you’re ready for outdoor adventures, love to teach skills and tricks, play games, enjoy a co-pilot and have a cool pup to go on field trips with.

Magnolia has done more than fantastic in her foster homes. One in South Carolina while she recovered from hip surgery after being left on the road after being hit by a car, and here in Vermont where she has integrated with ease with her foster family. Both homes she did really well with kiddos and plays appropriately with other dogs.

She has excellent house manners, housebroken, crate trained, but has earned freedom outside of the crate at night and a “pen” area during times left alone. Her leash skills have improved and with more time and training, she will also master that skill. She LOVES her people and never wants to be far from them, making recall training easy, especially with a tasty treat!

Magnolia is a total love bug. She’s so trusting and sweet. At just about a year old, she’s inching closer to 50 lbs with the softest fur and thick, white undercoat. She’s playful and energetic outside, but happy to snuggle up and snore the afternoon away on your lap afterwards. She is house-trained, observant and incredibly food motivated which makes it easy and fun to train. She LOVES long walks and playtime with the kiddos and/or the other dogs. She does favor her back left leg (where she had hip surgery) when she’s tired, but slowly building her strength. If you’re looking for a pup who just wants to be with you, give you the sweetest kisses, lean on you for hugs and crash out after an outdoor adventure, Mags is the pup for you!

This beautiful one blue eyed beauty is about 1 year old and ready to create a lifetime of memories with a family of her own. Mags is being fostered in Burlington and would love to go on a walk with you!
