These sweet, senior Dachsunds (most likely a mother/daughter pair) were surrendered to the shelter after their owner passed away. While they may have been very much loved in their former life, they arrived at the shelter in terrible physical condition and in need of extensive medical care to relieve their pain. After lots of TLC and nurturing in loving foster homes, these two sweethearts are in good health, are happy, getting lots of love and attention, and are finally ready to find a special family willing to open their home and heart to both so they can live out the rest of their lives together. Like mirror images of one another, they love to play, sleep, and explore the world together. Their foster Mom says that they get along GREAT with everyone…..people, other animals, love to be held and curl up in a warm lap, go on walks, and are crate trained.
