Picked up off the street as a stray, little Peanut, Tanner and their mom Sugar came into our rescue from an overcrowded shelter in South Carolina. Little Peanut was not feeling well on the day of the transport to Vermont, so she is recuperating in a foster home in South Carolina until she arrives on August 5. A typical puppy, Peanut is active, friendly and playful. She enjoys playing with her toys, taking naps with her people, and following the big dogs around her foster home. She is working on potty training and learning manners. Like any young pup, she would do best with a family who has the time and energy to continue socializing and training her so he grows into a well-balanced companion that you will enjoy taking on all your family adventures.
