My name is Bug and my friends call me a lowrider. I am a very sweet, snuggly kind of guy who will sit still for hours while you pet my face or belly. I prefer a lap or a bed to hanging out on the floor or in a crate, but I will go in a crate and I am good in one but its not my favorite place. I love to play with my buddy, Mini. We share toys, chase birds and enjoy wrestling and chasing each other around. And when we get tired we cuddle together for long naps- sometimes we even go in my crate together. I was abandoned at the shelter after being used as a breeder dog at a terrible puppy mill where I was mistreated and got a skin infection that made me lose all of my hair. To be honest I was quite ugly, and had almost no hair and lots of scabs. I am quiet and kind. Since I’ve been in my foster home I have become quite healthy. My coat is shinny and you’d never know the terrible life I once lived. I’ve even been to the dentist and gotten neutered. I am very well behaved in the house, though I will steal a treat or two if food is left around. I LOVE people and other dogs, especially my friend, Mini.

I am about 5 years old and am a lightweight at just 15 pounds. People say I am a dachshund, more likely I am a mix of dachshund and something else. I love rolling around in the covers and any kind of food I can get. I will even steal cucumbers right off the vine, they are delicious.
