More About MILO

MR MILO is looking to join a super fun adventure family! If you and your family are looking to add add some spice to your outdoor life, Come meet Milo! This very handsome teen pup finds ways to make you laugh every day. About 1 year old and about 50 pounds.

Milo has been in a wonderful foster home since July, 2021 adjusting to life outside of the shelter. His foster mom teamed up with a trainer and have been working on his skill building ever since. His foster mom describes Milo as a big goofy guy who loves to play anytime, anywhere! He zooms around the house, plays with toys and is curious about every new object. He is eager to please, a quick learner and loves to learn new tricks.

He is a young, active guy and we will need to find a family that is just as active and loves adventure. Milo is working (and improving) on leash skills, and will need a family to continue with this skill building. He enjoys going on hikes with his foster mom and even joins her on her daily run. Milo loves to greet every person he sees and has never met a person he doesn’t love. Oh, and MILO absolutely LOVES splashing around like a little kid in the water!

Milo needs continued skill building, an outlet for his high energy and structure around the home. Milo would also love a home with a large fenced in area so he can have ample time outdoors exploring his surroundings.

One of Milo’s favorite times is at the end of the day when he cuddles on the couch watching TV, chewing on his favorite toys, and snuggling under blankets.

Milo would be awesome as a only pet who can be a sponge to all the love a family has to give.

Milo’s ideal home would include:

Fenced in yard or ample space for safely running
Active family who enjoys walks, runs, and hikes
Patience and commitment with continued training
Lots of love and snuggles
Kiddos over 12 due to his energy level and bouncy skills.

Favorite Games

Milo could play tug-o-war all day and he loves playing with people and other dogs. He understands fetch even though he doesn’t always like to return the toy. Milo loves to play hide-and-seek underneath blankets and find his foster mom hiding around the house.

Milo is being fostered in Burlington. Please inquire by submitting an application found at this link:
