We don't know the history of little SIESTA, but we do know that this little sweetheart is going to melt your heart. Siesta is about 14 pounds, approximately 2 years old and is ready to join a forever family. She is a shy girl and has taken a few days to come out of her shell in her foster home, but every day she is more and more engaging. She rolls over for belly rubs with her tail wagging a million miles a minute. Her foster canine sibling has helped her learn that there is plenty of good food and love coming her way. Her ideal family will be one that understands a shy dog and can help continue to build her confidence to become the confident little gal we know is in there. Another canine friend would also be great for her.

Siesta has been in a foster home for quite some time as she went through her heartworm treatment and was a little trooper through both treatment and recovery. She made her way to Vermont and is now being fostered in Essex, VT where she will continue to build her confidence and wait to meet a forever family of her very own.
