ANDY is our lovely and oh so handsome, Chessie that has been turned over by his owners due to a change in family dynamics. This boy has SO much love to give and thrives when he can be around his people. He is excellent with other dogs, kids and people. He is housebroken, has excellent manners indoors and outdoors.

True to the breed, Andy LOVES the water, he loves to retrieve and he loves outdoor adventure. He is 8 years old and has many more years of love to give, cuddles to be had, games to play and tons of fun in the water.

What Andy really needs.... a true family of his own. He needs to know that he will not be abandoned again. He truly is thriving for that special bond that won't ever be broken again. When we find that family, they will not be disappointed in the unconditional love this boy has to offer.

His ideal home is one with another canine friend, room to run, play and let his spirit shine through. A family that has time to spend with him and make him an integrate part of their daily life. Andy will not do well in a home where he's left alone for long periods of time and will need an understanding family committed to providing a nurturing environment that can re-build his confidence levels.
