Sam is our little 17 pound chi/terrier blend. This pint size charmer easily makes friends with people and small dogs. He has been a great little foster dog, has good house-manners, is wonderful off leash and on, has decent recall and is a blast to have walking or hiking.

He is also loves to snuggle with you on the couch or in bed. We would call Sam a medium energy little guy, he loves to run around outside, taking in the sights and smells of other little critters, but he can also settle in the home nicely.

He would do well with other little dogs in the home or as a single dog that has an active family to include him in their daily activities. He is not a dog that would be happy staying home alone for more than 4-5 hours per day, so a family that wants to have a side kick companion would be ideal.
