Just a few days ago Theo was stuck in an overcrowded shelter in South Carolina worried about his future...today he is with a foster family….hiking, exploring, and sharing beautiful views of Mt. Ascutney in Vermont…his tail has not stopped wagging! Theo's former family turned him into a shelter along with a litter of puppies. He was terribly underfed and neglected. Poor guy is skin and bones and is so grateful for regular meals. Despite a former life of neglect, he is quickly falling into a routine, enjoying nutritious meals, treats, toys, a soft bed, and will bury his head gently into your body, so loving and affectionate. He is a big fan of getting belly rubs and giving kisses. Theo is also making fast friends with his sweet, gentle, and affectionate manner and will make an awesome companion for any family. He is such an easy keeper that he would be a great fit for first time dog owners too. Theo would do his best in a cat-free home. With those golden eyes and that sweet blocky face...you just can't help but fall in love with this guy! 40 lbs, 2-3 years old, hound/lab mix
