SELMA, our lovely Black and Tan Coonhound is about 3 years old. She is a mild mannered lady although does have a pep in her step when outside! She loves the sights and the sounds of the New England air.

She has settled in with her foster mom quite well and is learning quickly good house-manners, how to walk politely on a lead and what it's like to be part of a family.

Selma is an incredibly sweet and loving lady. She loves attention, her feet dance and butt wiggles every time you talk to her. She is very excitable and energetic and would love a family who is also excited about life adventures.

Selma gets along well with other dogs and likes to play with other dogs sharing her medium energy. She loves to go for walks and sniff everything along the way in typical hound fashion. Selma loves going for rides and will hop right in the car.

Selma has been working hard on her leash walking skills and is doing well. She is housebroken and has good house manners. Selma loves her people and would like to be part of a family where she's not left alone for many hours of the day.

Selma would love a home where she is treated like the queen that she is! She wants to be, and deserves to be, the center of attention where she is reminded frequently that she is indeed a very good girl. Children over 12 are more Selma's style.
